On Friday, March 10th the city of Wyandotte added a brand new music venue to it's, already flourishing, roster of Downtown attractions.
District 142, a 15,000-square-foot venue, aims to attract local and national acts of all genres.
Their doors opened for the very first time on Friday, March 10th 2023...with a party that will not be soon forgotten!
The Stone Blossoms were the first band to grace District 142's new stage. After an hour long set, they were joined by their longtime friend Uncle Kracker!
Uncle Kracker performed each of his biggest hits, including "Follow Me", "Smile", "Drift Away", and more.
Their performance was followed by a surprise appearance from, Michigan based platinum recording artist, POP EVIL!
Mike Adkins, of the Stone Blossoms, returned to the stage to join POP EVIL on acoustic guitar for their stripped down set which included songs such as: "Monster You Made", "Torn to Pieces", "Footsteps", and many more.
SPONGE closed out the night w/ a classic performance of all of their hits!
